Rosendals Trädgårdskafé

Rodendals Cafe was one of the best experiences in Stockholm. After long day of museums and Skansen walking, it was peaceful and nice to sit and enjoy delicious food in romantic atmoshpere. The place looks really fairy and keep in mind that there were lot of people and had to wait for some time. There is self service, so you take whatever you like and pay at the desk. Outdoor seating was almost full, but you can find a spot inside. I tried famous carrot cake and cheese sandwich. Carrot cake was one of the best, soft and moisture. The cream cheese frosting also tasted very balanced. Please know that you have to clean after you and respect the place.

Delicious sandwiches, cakes and pastry served in a beautiful garden. Lunch is also available, it looked super fresh and tasty but we didn't try it.

Tasty and delightful cafe in Rosendals tradgard. The buffet of both savory and sweet treats was perfect for a lazy afternoon lunch. We loved the hummus with vegetables and chocolate and carrot cake. They also have some prepared items, we tried the salad and roast beef which was equally yummy. The green houses inside can get a bit hot and you need to watch out for the little birds trying ti snag a crumb but it’s all quite lovely. Be sure to try their teas and plant milks as well!

Rosendals appears to be part farm and part cafe, it was very crowded when I was there and the staff seemed somewhat overwhelmed. It was so hectic, in fact, that I did not get pictures of meal. It was, however, delicious! I ended up getting a vegetarian meal that came with delicious bread. You could tell how fresh the food was and I could have easily tried everything on the menu. I will definitely be back at some point in the future. Do not miss this place!

A lovely cafe in a lovely setting just a short walk from the tram and the major museums. Food is simple, and the menu quite short but it’s all super fresh and very tasty. We had the soup and bread, and then raided the table adorned with pastries and cakes. Order at the counter, choose a table and then wait for the buzzer to go off. When you’re done, work off the calories with a short walk back through the gardens and trees to the tram, the museums, or a longer walk back along the waterfront to town. A great Stockholm lunch venue.

This place is a heaven on earth in a warm summer day. I really enjoyed having my breakfast along with flowers, trees and bird chirps. Everything I ate was truly tasty (a cheese sandwich, hummus plate and a rhubarb cake). I’m a tea person and they had 4 different types of tea which is rare in Sweden. People were so kind and it was overall an amazing experience. I highly recommend visiting this place if you’re in Stockholm.
